SPECIAL DAY TO ALL OUR MOMS: Maria Faulconer's Mother's day Event and Giveaway

Mothers will always have a place in everyone's heart and to honor them in their very special day, I am participating in this Mother's Day Event hosted by jenhalliganPR in celebration also of this touching picture book by Maria Faulconer called A Mom For Umande

Mothers come in all sorts of packages, from natural moms, to adoptive moms, to women who stepped in and raised us in the best way they knew how. No matter what form they come in, mothers are a special group of women who deserve to be honored this Mother's Day, and today I am excited to share my own tribute to a very special woman, of course, MY MOTHER.

But I am currently busy right now and am waiting for tomorrow to post my special message because tomorrow is Mother's Day in my country and my tour stop is today so come back tomorrow for the updated message and photo of me and my Mom. You can check out this amazing picture book down below while at it. I hope I won't be too busy tomorrow to make my message. Enjoy! Also check out the other participants in their tour stop for their own tribute to their mothers. Have a good night!

The heart-tugging true story of how a baby gorilla found love in the arms of a surrogate mom.

When Umande was born, his mother didn’t know how to take care of him. So, he was hand-reared by keepers at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs. For eight months, the keepers crawled on the ground with him to show him how to walk; coughed in his face to teach him discipline; and gave him happy gorilla grumbles to encourage him. But for Umande, something was still missing. Luckily, a thousand miles away at the Columbus Zoo, a mom was waiting just for him.

This touching true story about finding a family will resonate with animal lovers and adoptive families alike.
